I’m not ashamed to admit it: I have played through Star
Wars Jedi: Fallen Order no less than four times. Perhaps it’s because it
was the first significant single-player Star Wars game in nearly a decade.
Perhaps it was the strangely satisfying Souls-esque combat. Perhaps it was
the characters, who were surprising new additions to the canon – particularly protagonist
Cal Kestis and the villainous Second Sister. I’ve been hooked since the game’s
2019 release, and after watching the trailer – which debuted during The Game
Awards – I’m itching to go for Round 5.
New enemies, allies, creatures and abilities now await Cal,
who destroyed an important Jedi Holocron containing a list of Force-sensitive children at
the conclusion of the last game to keep it out of the clutches of Darth Vader
and his Inquisitors. But Cal’s work, it seems, is far from over.
