Sallah’s BACK, baby!!!
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was missing a few things that made the classic three films, well, classic, but chief among them was Indy’s pal Sallah, played impeccably by John Rhys-Davies in both Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. He joins the returning Harrison Ford in globe-trotting – and potentially time-trotting – fifth installment of the franchise, titled Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
New cast members include Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas. James Mangold (Logan) directs the film, which is the first Indy installment without Steven Spielberg at the helm.
Given our glimpse at a de-aged Indy and, of course, the “dial” mentioned in the title, it seems as though we might be bringing time travel into the mix. Will it work? I guess only time will tell.
